what i call home...
What i call home? Ever since I started working at round table pizza I would never think I would call it my home. I spend most of my time at round table, I guess because I work there. I got hired on February 14 of 2009 and been there ever since. I work five days a week and usually have the late shifts (either 5 to close or 4 to close) and I consider that my home. I know every single person that works there and are like my family there and are very close to them. everyone there loves me and adore me so were like one big family and I enjoy being with them. When I have the day off I feel like I'm missing something or feel left out because I didn't work that day. I feel like I'm not at home if I m not at round table. Me and my co-workers are always crazy together when we work and always have fun there, we act all crazy and loud...like a strait up BOSS!!

ReplyDeletehaha :) i like how you wrote about your job being a home because at times people don't realize how much time they spend outside of home and they start to adapt to new places that later have that home-y feeling. i felt exactly the same way about working at target i loved it there! but i adore you too :) so i guess i agree with everything you pretty much say.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean that your work is like your home. That’s how I was at my old job. I worked at Mervyns and I was there 5-6 days a week, and it was very hard to see it close down. You see these people every day and get to know them even outside of work. They become your other family and it makes work a lot more fun!
ReplyDeleteI can not imagine calling my work place home. I would rather be anywhere but work. Work to me is like hell. The only time I would enjoy going to work would be to pick up my paycheck. It’s cool that all of your co-workers are very close to you. Just don’t act crazy around your managers. haha
